He's smiling proudly down at you!
image Kalyn,

Lately thoughts of your Dad that go through my head as well as in my dreams have been more like flashbacks of times he spent with you. I remember how excited he was shopping for Bratz doll stuff for you when you were little and loved those dolls. The proud smile on his face while he watched you open the gifts up. The hug you gave him and the hugs he gave you in return. So much love!

When he and I would go out to play darts or for him to sing Kareoke, when people would ask him what he has been up to, first thing he would do is to show everyone a recent picture of you. He was so proud to have you as his daughter. You can't even imagine how much he loved you, but I hope you felt it. And still feel it. I am sure he is looking down from Heaven and smiling at the beautiful young lady you are becoming day by day. You make him proud Kalyn. Always remember that.

Love you sweetie! Talk to you soon <3

Love,
Aunt Debbie

Kalyn,

Your daddy was special to a lot of people in a lot of ways, myself included.  Above all else, he was your Daddy.  I hope that the love that continues to flow through this page is a source of comfort to you and a constant reminder of who and what you are.

Your daddy was very special and had a lot of love in his heart.  I am a better person for having known him.  He continues to hold a special place in my heart and always will because of who and what he was to me.  I am one of many who feel that way.

I hope that as the years go by, you will come to understand as I have that your daddy left behind a wonderful legacy.  Every life he touched was forever changed, but none so much as your own.

I wish you continued peace, love, joy, and happiness throughout your life.  Above all else, I wish for you to touch as many lives as your daddy did.  I wish for you to not only make a difference in the world around you, but to see the impact of your influence.  I wish for you to love and be loved.  Remember: "A heart is not judged by how much you love; but by how much you are loved by others."

I Miss You!!!

I wish Heaven had a phone so I could hear your voice again. I thought of you today, I thought of you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and your memory is a keepsake, from which I'll never part. God has you in his arms. I have you in my heart....

A funny memory of St. Patrick's Day

Kalyn,

A few years ago, your dad was here in New York for St. Patricks Day.  He was coming to my house for dinner that night and then we were off to celebrate like the typical Irish do.  I had made a very tradional dinner of Corned Beef and Potatoes.  The only thing is I tried to dye the potatoes green.  I used a little too much food coloring and the potatoes came out like a neon green.  Well when we sat down to eat and I brought the dish of potatoes to the table, I thought your dad was going to fall out of his chair laughing.  Ever the gracious guest, he attempted to hide his laughter, but failed horribly.  He spent the whole night giggling and cracking jokes about the green potatoes for many many years to come.  The fun we had that night will always be in my memory.

I miss him and his laughter terribly, but I promise you this little one, you can always ask me about the times that he and I spent together, about the laughter, about the late talks he and I had, no matter what Kalyn, I am here and will always be.  There are so many good people that have so much to share with you about Daddy.  And we will be here, no matter what for you.

Always Remember

Kalyn,

Always remember Daddy as if he were just in another room, never far away because he will always be watching over his "Baby-doll".  Just close your eyes, and picture him and he'll always be right there.  He will always be proud of you.  He will always watch over you and guide you even when you think he's not there.  I know he's still here in spirit, I feel him often with my heart.  I am always here to talk to about him.

Your Daddy and my Best Friend

Kalyn,

I have had the privledge of knowing your daddy for over 20 years.  He was and still is my best friend in this world and that will never change.

Daddy and I went to school together.  We also for a short time worked together many years ago.  Daddy and I met when we were a little older than you are now.  And through all those years we stayed in very close touch.  Even after he moved away from here in New York, to join the Navy.  I couldn't have been prouder to call him my friend and to tell people he was serving our Country in the Navy.  There were many times I was very afraid for him, but at the same time, I know your Daddy well enough to know he'd never put himself in danger.

When Daddy met your mommy, I remember getting a phone call from him telling me he was getting married.  He sounded so happy and I couldn't wait to meet this special lady that had stolen my best friends heart so quickly.  Then when he told me that you were on your way, I could hear in his voice the excitement and how proud he was to become a daddy.  Kalyn, your daddy loved you more than anything in theis world.  After you were born, all he could do was talk about his little girl.  No conversation he and I had in the last 9 years did not include you.  At times he would be here at my house and on the phone with you saying good night to you.  You were and always will be his world.  I know that he is smiling down on you now and will always watch over you and protect you now.  I have so many stories to tell you as you grow up.  Fun stories that will make you laugh.

Up here in New York, Daddy had many friends and we have all seen you grow up in the stories he's told us of you and the many many pictures he has shown us.  I know that myself and our friends here will always be here for you.
